Confirm Save Money: My DIY Project to Paint Bathroom Tiles

was so sian looking at my old bathroom tiles. You know the kind... the pattern from the 90s. Wanted to do reno, but I checked the price... wah, my heart also pain. Cannot lah.

Then my friend told me, "Eh, you can just paint bathroom tiles, you know?" At first, I was like, "Can meh?"

So I decided to try. Okay, first thing first, must clean the tiles properly lah. The grout lines got all the black-black mould, so leceh. But must scrub until clean, if not the paint won't stick.

After that, dry properly, then use masking tape to cover all the things you don't want to get paint on. Don't be lazy on this part, okay! Then, you put one layer of primer. This one is important, helps the main paint stick better.

For the main event, I used a specialist tile paint. Use a small roller for the big parts, faster and more even. Use a brush for the grout lines and edges. I did two coats. Must be patient and let it dry properly between coats.

The result... shiok, man!

Seriously, the bathroom looks brand new. All my friends who came over thought I did a full reo. When I told them I just paint bathroom tiles, they all cannot believe it. Best part? Saved so much money. You also can try.
